Voor wie?
- Je bent ten minste 18 jaar.
- Je hebt al minstens een diploma secundair onderwijs, uit je land van herkomst of uit België (via OKAN-onderwijs, onthaalklas voor anderstalige nieuwkomers).
- Je bent (recent) naar Vlaanderen gemigreerd.
- Je hebt tegen eind september een basiskennis van het Nederlands: minstens niveau B1 / niveau 3 UCT Gent, aan te tonen via een cursus.
- Je verblijft niet in België met een studentenvisum.
Wat?
Het voortraject bereidt je voor op een Nederlandstalige opleiding aan een universiteit of hogeschool.
- Je volgt lessen academisch Nederlands.
- Je volgt keuzevakken om je voor te bereiden op je opleiding: Engels, wiskunde, fysica, chemie, ...
- Je krijgt begeleiding bij studiekeuze en -aanpak
- Je leert het onderwijssysteem kennen: inschrijven, studietoelage, op kot gaan, ...)
- Je leer andere studenten kennen via leuke activiteiten

For whom?
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have obtained at least a secondary school degree in your home country, or you have obtained a Belgian secondary school degree (after education for non-Dutch speaking newcomers at OKAN).
- You have (recently) migrated to Flanders.
- At the start of the programme you have achieved at least the Dutch language level B1 (UCT Gent level 3).
- You are not staying in Belgium on a student visa.
What?
A one year full-time programme:
- An immersive study of academic Dutch.
- Optionally, you can brush up on English, math, physics and chemistry.
- You get advice on study choice and study approach.
- You get to know the education system: enrollment, grants, housing, ...
- You get to know other students through fun activities
