AgroFoodNature examines the development of local food chains through interdisciplinary research. It has expertise in building local chains for grains, pulses and hemp — from farmer to consumer. Interdisciplinary research is also carried out into the valorisation of by-product streams. From technological, marketing, legal, sustainability and logistical perspectives, we explore how bread leftovers and surplus sweet potatoes can serve as (re)new(ed) food ingredients.
