Impact that makes a difference

This project developed an impact framework that can be easily applied across the operations of East Flanders Province. It enables more concrete and evidence-based reporting on the progress of policy objectives in relation to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Accelerating uptake, use and impact

This initiative aims to support the VLIR-UOS community and its stakeholders in promoting the uptake, application, and real-world impact of higher education research and innovation insights. It is led by an interdisciplinary team of researchers and university administrators from UCuenca (Ecuador), MUST (Uganda), KU Leuven, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and HOGENT.

Social circular hub "De Keet"

De Keet is a collaboration between 7 organisations and HOGENT. To enable sustainable impact, it is essential to adopt a long-term approach and work in an interdisciplinary manner. The interconnection of economic, social and ecological aspects, combined with the inherently complex nature of organisations, makes an integrated approach indispensable. A focus limited to a single subdomain of an organisation is insufficient to capture its actual impact. We therefore examine the characteristics and criteria of organisational systems from an interdisciplinary perspective. Our focus lies on modelling and implementing sustainable policies, as well as measuring and reporting impact.
