Focal point in the Landscape and Garden Architecture studies is project oriented design. From the start the designing of gardens, parks and landscapes is the major activity of the students.
However, designing is more than drawing a presentation plan. Students need all the skills and knowledge (a.o. plant materials, landscape engineering, soil science,…) they have acquired during the courses for several design projects.
After completing these studies, students have a wide variety of employment chances. They can be part of a multidisciplinary team, working together with engineers or architects, can be employed in the civil services or can work on a independent basis.
