Accountancy and Tax Law

It teaches students to register, interpret and use accounting data as an instrument in management and policy.  The Tax component teaches them how to fill in tax declaration forms  and give advice on fiscal matters.

Case studies aim at training the students’  reasoning skills and independence. Employment can be found in offices of accountants and tax specialists, or in other enterprises.

Finance and Insurance

Finance and Insurance offers broad legal and economic training as well as a thorough technical knowledge of insurance and banking products. The Finance component emphasises all aspects of the banking sector and the stock market.  In addition, all aspects of the world of insurance are covered.  Students  can work in this sector as self-employed banking agents or insurance brokers, or as  office workers with career growth prospects. 

Supply Chain Management

Supply Chain Management includes the entire organisation and execution of logistic transport per sector (rail/road/sea/air).  Solid theoretical and practical training forms the basis of successful jobs as  transport & logistics managers.  There is a wide variety of opportunities for employment in transport companies, airlines, courier services, storage and handling enterprises.

Marketing

Marketing intends to teach students how to handle all current marketing tools for the varied fields in which marketing is used: business to consumer, business to business, service marketing, non-profit,… We train the students’ commercial skills, teach them the ins and outs of communication and further develop their sales ability. There is a wide range of employment opportunities, such as  account manager, advertising manager, product manager, communication manager, etc.

Environmental and Sustainability Management

Environmental and Sustainability Management provides a thorough basis in business economics and an extensive programme in environmental, sustainability and mobility topics. The curriculum includes the analysis of environmental, mobility and sustainability problems and finding solutions to them.
The diploma leads to employment as an environmental co-ordinator in companies, but also as an employee in environmental consultancy firms in the fields of the environment, sustainable development and mobility, as well as with the relevant government administration or as an environmental officer in a city council.

Law

Law offers practical rather than encyclopaedic knowledge  of the law in all its dimensions. It bridges the gap between the abstract legal rules and their application. This programme opens many doors to the labour market, in the private as well as the public sector. Jobs can be found  with lawyers, notaries, the public prosecutor, banks, insurance companies, …

SME Management

SME Management trains those who want to set up their own company and need a solid economic, social, legal  and organizational basis in entrepreneurship.   The principles and regulations essential to an entrepreneur are acquired together with the administrative skills needed to handle documents related to tax, subsidies and personnel management and the like.
